Harry Potter Christmas Wreath
Making your own Harry Potter Christmas Wreath is easy. It is more challenging to find Harry Potter ornaments at a reasonable price. I suggest making many of the ornaments yourself and looking around your home to see what you have to decorate your wreath.
I like making Christmas wreaths with artificial wreaths. For the Harry Potter Christmas Wreath, I decided to flock it first to match the Christmas tree. Then to provide dimension to making the room feel like Christmas at Hogwarts.
Decorate your Harry Potter Wreath with ornaments, owls, wands, potion bottles, Harry Potter figurines, chocolate frog boxes, snitches, Hogwart’s tickets and Harry Potter collectable ornaments. So I decided to make most of the ornaments on the wreath and they were pretty easy.
I watched the Harry Potter films again for inspiration and took notes on things I thought I could make. The wreath took me less than an hour to assemble and it was fun!

Supplies
- 30 inch Artificial Wreath (or what ever size fits your space)
- 2.5 -3 inch wide ribbon
- Scissors
- Craft Pliers (optional)
- Dual temperature mini glue gun and mini glue sticks
- Florist wire and/or Chenille Stems
Directions For Harry Potter Christmas Wreath
- Prep your area with a craft mat, drop cloth, old scatter rug or old sheet. Plug in your glue gun on a protective surface as well. So I like to use old magazines because they are thick enough that the hot glue does not drip through.
- Start with fluffing your wreath by separating and spreading out the branches. If you flocked your wreath like I did, it is already fluffed.
- Next, intertwine your ribbon and secure with the wreath branches, florist wire or chenille stems.
- Then dry fit your ornaments and decorations on the wreath. Once you are happy with the placement of everything, secure each decoration onto the wreath with hot glue, florist wire and/or chenille stems.
- Start with the largest decorations first and then attach the smaller decorations.
- So if you accidently glue an ornament in the wrong place, let it dry a little and then cut it off.
