Harry Potter Tale Of Three Brothers Ornament
It is easy to make a Harry Potter Tale of Three Brothers ornament to put on the tree or give as a gift. I made a bunch of these for my kids Harry Potter Christmas tree, and handed out a few as gifts. This is one of my favorites that I made.
If you have never considered a Harry Potter themed Christmas, you should. The only problem is that it is hard to find ornaments that are reasonably priced. So to solve this problem, I decided to make most of them. This ended up being a fun process, and they all turned out really well.
Making all the Harry Potter ornaments made the tree spectacular. The Tale of Three Brothers ornament is perfect for Harry Potter fans. Also, when you buy these wood circles to make the ornaments, you don’t have to worry about breaking them. These are really safe for children and pets on the Christmas tree. So I hope you give these a try, and some of my other ornaments.

Directions For Harry Potter Tale Of Three Brothers Ornament
- Do an internet search and find an image you like for the Tale Of Three Brothers.
- Save the images to your computer and print them to the size of 2.5 inches. So because they are small, you can print several to a page. I printed 12 per page. If you want a larger ornament, just make sure you get the wood shape and craft punch to match the larger size.
Note: Images found on the internet are for personal use only. If you plan to sell these, you must get permission of the image owner, and they probably charge a fee. All found images that are on Major Gates are for personal use only.
- Then using the craft punch, punch these out or cut out the circle with scissors. Do a dry fit to make sure the image fits the wood circle.
- Paint the wood circle the background color of your image. I used acrylic black.
- Next, paint on the Mod Podge to the wood circle and then affix the cut out and allow to dry for about 1 hour.
- Then, paint a layer Mod Podge over the top of the image and allow to dry for another hour. So the image will gloss up as it dries if you have Mod Podge Gloss and not Matte. This finish also protects the image.
- Once the top dries, paint the sides with more Mod Podge and sprinkle with glitter. Then allow to completely dry for at least 3 hours.
- Last, screw in the hook and tie with ribbon.
- The Harry Potter inspired Tale of Three Brothers ornament is ready to hang or give as a gift!
