Pina Colada
A great, smooth Pina Colada is a wonderful treat any time of the year. This recipe is so easy to make. I love this recipe because the cream of coconut makes it so smooth but not over powering. I also like to use a nice quality rum. So the next time you are considering what kind of cocktail you should try making, give this a try!

Ingredients
- 1 cup of white rum
- 15 ounce can of Coco Lopez Cream of Coconut
- 8 ounce can crushed pineapple
- 4-6 cups of crushed ice (add more if you like it thicker)
- 1 Tablespoon of quick dissolving superfine sugar (optional)
Supplies
- Blender
- Measuring spoon
- Measuring cup
- Large spoon
- Serving glasses
- Umbrella picks (optional)
Directions For Pina Colada
- Start by adding the ice to the blender. I start with 4 cups of ice, then I blend a little of the mixture, and add about another 2 cups of ice. So if you have a smaller blender, pour 1-2 cups of blended Pina Colada into a tall cup or container. Then add more ice to the blender until it is thicker. As you pour a few glasses, blend the rest with more ice (about 2 cups).
- Add in rum, cream of coconut, crushed pineapple, and sugar (optional) to the blender.
- Then mix the Pina Colada on high until blended smooth. So add more ice if you want it thicker.
- Serve immediately and store left overs in the freezer.
