In this post, I will give some great Bridgerton Party Ideas. A favorite show for many is the award winning Bridgerton series. This show airs on Netflix and the storyline, characters, design sets, and costumes are outstanding. So this theme is great for watch parties, girls night, bridal showers, weddings, and baby showers. Other than the storylines, the thing most of us love is the opulence and elegance of the Bridgerton settings. So what better way to honor the show then to try to re-create your own Bridgerton setting with a twist.

Bridgerton is set in the Regency Era. This period of British history is from the years between c. 1795 and 1837, although the official regency period for which it is named only spanned the years 1811 to 1820. This is also the era from when Jane Austen’s works were set. So if you love Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Mansfield Park, Sense and Sensibility and Persuasion, these all were set in the Regency period.

Bridgerton Party Planning Ideas

Determine if your event will be a brunch, lunch or in the evening. Also, determine if you will request guests to dress up in theme or Regency Era dress. Then, make your guest list, determine the date and time. Next, send a save the date text and/or email to all the perspective guests.

Now determine the location and brainstorm ideas on how and what you would like to decorate. Write down all ideas that you can think of, and cross of the ones that you change your mind, as you work on the vision. So start to price and purchase decoration items for the party. Make or buy a backdrop that will be great for group photos and selfies. Backdrops also look great behind display tables for a sweets table, gifts table, or a great way to display food.

Have a great table scapes. Tea and tea sets are prominent in many scenes in the Bridgerton series. So to really set the tone, mix with an array of flowers. Roses, hydrangeas, lilacs and accent flowers will elevate the party decorations. Think about the main party display table, the sweets and treats table, drinks table, gifts table, etc. Then try to make each one unique, but coordinated to the theme. Also, use signs in picture frames to explain choices on the table. Extravagant centerpieces are part of the Bridgerton opulence, but for small gatherings, you can have just one fantastic centerpiece and accent other tables with smaller floral arrangements. So a great centerpiece on the kitchen island for girls night will be perfect. Also, don’t forget about the diamonds. There are many sizes of faux gems and glass diamonds that you can display throughout the party.

Sprinkle in little Bridgerton things in the decor to add that special touch, like bees, societal paper, carriages, tea cups, diamonds, books, artist supplies, florals from the series, etc.

Food & Drink Ideas

Food that you serve should be easy to eat, taste delicious and styled. There are so many food and drink options, but a must are tea and baked goods. So for girls night options, don’t forget the champagne or cocktails.

Pay special attention to the drinks you serve. This is an opportunity to come up with fun names and combinations to serve, whether they contain alcohol or not. So try coming up with a cocktail or punch and then name it with a character name or name fusion.

Having a great pretty colored punch will go off well with guests. Have one with alcohol and another without alcohol and be sure to label the punches.

Other Bridgerton Party Ideas

Now, consider how you will entertain your guests. For example, for a viewing party, will you have music or just play the series? Determine if you will have some starter Bridgerton themed activities or games before the show. Also, determine if you will have activities after the viewing. As guests arrive, playing the show soundtrack songs will set the mood.

For bridal showers, baby showers, weddings, the event will look different. So you may have more occasion themed activities and then you just use the theme in your decorations.
