This show airs on Netflix and the storyline, characters, design sets, and costumes are outstanding. So this theme is great for watch parties, girls night, bridal showers, weddings, and baby showers. Other than the storylines, the thing most of us love is the opulence and elegance of the Bridgerton settings. So what better way to honor the show then to try to re-create your own Bridgerton setting with a twist.

Bridgerton is set in the Regency Era. This period of British history is from the years between c. 1795 and 1837, although the official regency period for which it is named only spanned the years 1811 to 1820. This is also the era from when Jane Austen’s works were set. So if you love Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Mansfield Park, Sense and Sensibility and Persuasion, these all were set in the Regency period.

Determine if your event will be a brunch, lunch or in the evening. Also, determine if you will request guests to dress up in theme or Regency Era dress. Then, make your guest list, determine the date and time. Next, send a save the date text and/or email to all the perspective guests.

Now determine the location and brainstorm ideas on how and what you would like to decorate. Write down all ideas that you can think of, and cross of the ones that you change your mind, as you work on the vision. So start to price and purchase decoration items for the party. Food that you serve should be easy to eat, taste delicious and styled. There are so many food and drink options, but a must are tea and baked goods. So for girls night options, don’t forget the champagne or cocktails.
