Rum Punch

This Rum Punch is my new party favorite.  The flavors are delicious and you can make it as strong or light as you like.  I never used banana liqueur before, but it is a game changer.  So you can make this punch individually or for a party, just double or triple the ingredients.  I will explain how to make for one or for a party in this post.  Also note that you do not have to use expensive liquor brands when making a punch.   I usually buy whatever is on sale at the time.  Since you are mixing it with juices, you can’t tell the distinction from when alcohol is not mixed and save some money.  This punch is very easy to make and tastes delicious.

 

Supplies

• 1-2 Gallon Punch dispenser (if you use a 2 gallon punch dispenser, double all ingredients)
• Large Spoon
• Cocktail Shaker – use for individual serving
• Ounce measuring cup – use for individual serving
• Reusable Ice Cubes

 

Ingredients

• 2 cups of Banana Liqueur
• 2 cups of Coconut Rum
• 1 cup of White Rum
• 4 cups of Cranberry Juice Cocktail
• 4 cups of Pineapple Juice

Individual Serving

• 1/2 ounce of White Rum
• 1 oz Coconut Rum
• 1 oz Banana Liqueur
• 2 oz Cranberry Juice Cocktail
• 1 oz Pineapple Juice

Garnish Options

• Strawberries
• Fresh Mint
• Pineapple Slices

 

Directions For Rum Punch

• For Punch Dispensers – Add all ingredients to the punch dispenser and stir with a large spoon.  Then add in the reusable ice cubes to chill.  Have ice available for those that want it more cold or want it to water down a bit.  Then taste the punch and if too strong for your tastes, add in more cranberry or pineapple juice.
• For Individual Serving – Add some ice to a cocktail shaker, then add all other ingredients to the shaker.  Shake for 7 to 10 seconds to chill and combine.  Pour the drink into a tall glass filled with ice.  Then garnish with fresh mint and/or fresh pineapple chunks.
