German Chocolate Italian Love Cake

German Chocolate Italian Love Cake is my twist on this classic cake. Â I made a few changes to the recipe to my tastes that make it light, creamy and delicious. Â For example, I use German chocolate cake mix, mascarpone cheese and Milky Way pudding mix. Â All three of these ingredients make the cake lighter and not as rich. Â The mascarpone gives the cake a smooth, velvety texture that is mild and slightly sweet. Â Also, the Milky Way pudding mix is a lighter milk chocolate flavor that tastes like a Milky Way. Â This recipe is a party favorite because this cake is chilled and creamy.
You also do not have to decorate this cake but you can always add shaved chocolate, strawberries, chocolate sprinkles or chocolate cookies for that extra touch. Â So give this recipe a try and watch it disappear.
