Americana Picture Frame Centerpieces

Making Americana Picture Frame centerpieces are easy and affordable.  You can get most of the supplies at stores you already shop at or on-line.  It is a great way to fill space on a decorative table or tables where guests will be seated.  The longest part is deciding the images that you want to use.  Just do a search on Americana images, backgrounds, or wallpaper and save the image down to your computer.  The best part about this craft is that you can many of these centerpieces in a short time and they look great.  So give these centerpieces a try for the next 4th of July, Veteran’s Day, or Memorial Day.

Supplies

• 4 x 6 Picture Frames (these also work great with 5 x 7 Picture Frames)

• Card Stock – Regular White 65lb
• Sharp Scissors
• Color Printer
• Mini Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
• Red, Blue, and White Faux or real flowers (4-6 bushes depending on the size)

• Flower Wire Cutter
• Square base that is slightly larger than the frame box (optional)  – I only would add the base if I had several to transport or move.  Otherwise, I just put the flowers directly in the frame box.

Directions For Americana Picture Frame Centerpiece

• Start by finding images that you like that represent Americana and save them down to your computer.
• Next, print the images on white card stock or photo paper to the frame size, 4″x6″ or 5″x7″ and then cut the trim off to size.

NOTE:  Images found on the internet are for personal use only.  If you are going to sell the item, you need permission from the image creator and they may charge a fee.

• Secure the image in the picture frame and turn on the mini glue gun.

• Now, glue the edges of the picture frames together to form a box.

• Trim the flowers and then place them in the box.  If you are using real flowers, place them in a small vase with water and then inside the box.

• So make one or a few and place around the event space or on picnic tables.
