Halloween Cauldron Centerpiece
Making a Halloween Cauldron Centerpiece is fun and will put you in the spirit of Halloween. I came up with the idea after having seeing Halloween ornaments in stores. I also had many leftover Christmas ornaments that I had no idea what to do with. Then I found some leftover pumpkins that came in weird colors that I have never been able to use but were part of a package.
This craft was great because I found some of the ornaments and eyeballs at my local dollar store. It is also fun to go through old decorations for Halloween and Christmas and see what color combinations you can come up with. So be creative, use what you can that you have and make a beautiful centerpiece.

Supplies
Check your local craft store, party supply and/or dollar store for some of these items. Most stores start to stock Halloween supplies starting in August. I also have links to easy purchase some of these items on-line.
- 12-16 inch Cauldron – buy a larger one if you want a larger centerpiece. I purchased the 12 inch cauldron.
- Assortment of regular sized shatter proof Christmas ornaments in Fall or Woodland colors (around 2.4 inches-6 cm)
- Glitter shatter proof ornaments in Fall or Woodland Colors in an assortment of sizes
- Glitter Vase Filler balls in various colors – orange, black, purple, green, gold, burgundy
- Halloween Ornaments – Optional
- One Package of Plastic Eyeballs
- Plastic Spiders – try to get some glitter ones or you can always spray a little adhesive and apply glitter yourself
- 2 floral foam blocks
- Tissue Paper
- Dual Temperature Glue Gun and Dual Temperature Glue Sticks
- Glitter Broom – optional
- Witches Boot, Ghost, Witches Hat, Skull or other Halloween Topper
- Fun Halloween Sign – optional
Directions For Halloween Cauldron Centerpiece
- Hot glue the foam blocks to the bottom of the cauldron.
- Next, crush the tissue paper on top of the foam block to about 2 inches from the top. The reason you do this is so that you are not wasting tons of bulbs filling up the cauldron.
- Then start hot gluing the ornaments starting in the center and building your way out. Make sure the bulbs are added randomly and glue a few to the inside of the cauldron so the bulbs are sturdy and stay in place.
- Keep adding the bulbs sporadically, mixing colors, textures and sizes but save any special decorative bulbs for the top so they are visible. Then glue some bulbs over the sides to represent a bubbling cauldron.
- Now add the eyeballs, pumpkins and spiders randomly. Keep turning the cauldron as you glue the bulbs to make sure you have a full circle view. That way if guest are viewing from a counter or table they can see the fun from all directions.
- Last, glue any decorative toppers and Halloween signs. The possibilities are endless!
