Music Popcorn Favors
Music popcorn favors are a cute favor idea for music lovers. You can make a few of these favors or plenty for a party or event. Therefore, the instruments on the labels can be altered to any instrument. You can also decide if you want to add a candy in the center of the “Pop” or not. I love this idea because it is very easy to do. So you can just make the popcorn favor with just the printed label or add it with other goodies in a treat bag. Also, adding the candy in the middle is also optional.
So, consider lining these up in groups to make a lovely display. I would recommend having large containers of already popped popcorn in a variety of flavors to set off the table. You could also put these in clear treat bags and add additional candy, keychains, and music themed small items.

Instructions For Music Popcorn Favors
NOTE: Please note these templates are for personal use only and are not for resale.
- Print the labels out on regular white card stock. I printed 4 labels per page and the labels are approximately 3 in x 5 in. Then cut out the labels with sharp scissors.
- Next, score the back of the music paper at 5 1/2 inches and then cut the strip.
- Now, measure the strip at 3 1/2 inches and score and cut. So if you are using 12 x 12 inch paper, you will be able to cut 3 per long strip and 6 total from one sheet of paper.
- Apply the glue stick to the back of the label and make sure you cover the corners. Then apply to the music background.
- Then hot glue (low setting) the layered label to the microwave popcorn bag. So go around the edges with the hot glue so that it is flat and even.
- These are ready as is, but I will add more to these for favors.
- Now, cut off the brown wrapper on the Ferrero Roche candy and fold back any edges that came off. Then, hot glue (low setting) in the candy over the “O” on the label.
- You can then slip these into a favor bag. I used clear treat bags 4″ x 9″ (10.16 x 22.86cm) and slipped in custom Hershey’s kisses and chocolate. Therefore, recipients will have the sweet with the savory. Then, I folded over the tops and stapled.
- Then I made music popcorn favor labels with the music paper. So they measured 5 inches wide x 7 inches long. In addition, I scored them on the scoring board and then cut. Next, I folded them in half. Ensuring the notes were displaying in the right direction, I glued on musical paper notes and the name with the glue stick.
- Next, I then applied the holly stickers on the sides. So you can use any stickers you want to match your theme. Also, I made the name on my cutting machine but you could always print the name in a block/rectangle format on the computer.
- Then, use the glitter card stock with the craft punches for musical notes. So you could also use music confetti that is pretty economical to achieve a similar look.
- Last, staple the top labels to the bags and you are done. So make as many or few as you need. The recipients will love this idea!
