Fried Mushrooms

Fried Mushrooms

Fried Mushrooms are a delicious appetizer, side, or meal.  I love how light, flavorful and crispy they are.  They are also pretty easy to make.  The mushrooms just melt in your mouth when you bite into them.  I like to dip them into ranch dressing or white gravy.  Fried mushrooms taste great as a snack or appetizer.  So these are prefect for game day, friends over, date night, or family gatherings.

I have only had a few mushrooms left over only once.   To re-heat them, I put them in a cold oven and then heat until 300° Fahrenheit. Once the oven is hot, heat for only 5 minutes.  So, the reason that you do not pre-heat the oven is because your mushrooms will turn dark brown, and the centers will be cold.  By allowing the fried mushrooms to heat up gradually, the fried mushroom is crispy and heated through.
