Panini Sandwich
Having a panini sandwich is a great way to enjoy a warm sandwich, filled with any fillings you like. Panini makers are very popular, as many dual purpose as indoor grills. So if you love sandwiches and grilling, consider investing in a panini maker. Warm sandwiches are great any time of the day or the year. They also go great with numerous sides including salads, soups or chips.
A panini is a grilled sandwich that is typically made with Italian bread. It is typically made with bread like focaccia, ciabatta or a whole grain baguette, but has been adopted to use with pretty much any type of bread. So, I like to experiment with various types of bread and contents for delicious combinations. I also like to make sandwiches with different sauces and aioli’s.

Directions For Panini Sandwiches
- Apply spreadable butter on bread slices with a spreader. Then add any sandwich sauce or aioli to the bread.
- Next, add on your ingredients like sliced tomatoes, cooked bacon, lettuce, meat, avocado’s, cheese, etc.
- I have found that it is best to put the cheese as the last layer or first layer, so that your cheese melts before the bread gets too toasted. I like to use smoked gouda cheese, cut thick in most of my paninis.
- So once your sandwich is assembled. Add more spreadable butter on the top. Spray the panini maker with cooking spray and cook for about 7-10 minutes or until desired toast level.
- Once done, slice your sandwich and serve with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
