Strawberry Frozen Refresher
Making a strawberry frozen refresher is a perfect light drink that is perfect anytime of the day. I love making food and drinks where I can control exactly what is going into it. This a non-alcoholic refresher that is perfect for everybody. But you can always add some vodka or white rum if you want some adult kick. I like to make this drink for a sunny day and I want to enjoy a sweet drink that is not overly sweet. You could also make this with fresh or frozen blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries. Just find the coordinating syrup or use simple syrup. You can find fruit syrups at the grocery store in the beer/wine section, at liquor stores, or at home stores like Home Goods.

For this recipe, you can also substitute the soda for club soda, orange juice, apple juice, pineapple juice, or water. People of all ages love this slushy drink, so buy extra strawberries because you may have to make a second batch. This is perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or after working in the yard, playing sports, outdoor barbecue, or just relaxing.

Directions For Strawberry Frozen Refresher
- Start by rinsing off the strawberries in cold water and place on paper towels to dry.
- Then cut off the tops of strawberries and chop into smaller pieces and put into blender.
- Next, add in the puree or syrup and then the ice cubes.
- Then add in the lemon-lime soda.
- Blend on high until completely blended through. If you notice the drink is too thin, just add more ice cubes and continue to blend.
- But if you are using frozen strawberries, you may need to add water, so that the mixer will blend. Just add 1/4 at a time until the mixture moves in the blender.
- Serve while cold.
