Chipotle Aioli

I love Chipotle Aioli on sandwiches, burgers, fries and onion rings.  Chipotle Aioli is especially wonderful on a chicken sandwich.  This spicy mayo is very easy to make.  I usually make a batch for the week I know we are going to have chicken sandwiches, burgers or homemade fries.  It is like you are making a craft sandwich or burger at home.

Ingredients For Chipotle Aioli

Makes 1 cup of sauce

• 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
• 1/2 cup Miracle Whip
• 4 teaspoons Adobo Sauce from a can of Chipotle Chili Peppers 3.5oz (99g) – for a more spicy sauce, use the whole can of sauce minus the peppers
• 2 teaspoons of Lemon Juice
• 1/2 teaspoon of each:
  • Coarse Black Pepper
  • Chili Powder
  • Garlic Powder
  • Garlic Salt or Kosher Salt

Supplies

• Small mixing bowl
• Measuring Cup
• Measuring Spoons
• Mixing Spoon or spatula

 

Directions For Chipotle Aioli

• In a small bowl, add the mayonnaise, miracle whip and lemon juice.
• Half open the can of chipotle chili peppers and squeeze the sauce from the can into the bowl and then stir.

 

• Then add the seasonings and stir.

• Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
• This Chipotle Aioli can store for 1 week in the refrigerator in a air tight sealed container.

Serve Chipotle Aioli on top of your favorite burger, sandwich or chicken sandwich.  This also tastes great with homemade fries, sweet potato fries or onion rings.
